In a heartfelt Democracy Day message, former Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, urged Nigerians to stay hopeful and rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in the collective effort to rebuild the nation.
Otuaro acknowledged the difficulties facing the country but expressed strong belief in Nigeria’s trajectory towards renewal and prosperity. He commended President Tinubu’s focused efforts to combat poverty, strengthen the economy, and promote national cohesion.
“At this defining moment in our national story, I speak to you not only as a former Deputy Governor but as a fellow Nigerian who shares your hopes and your determination,” Otuaro said.
“Amid the trials, let us not overlook the deliberate strides our President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is making toward lasting change. His administration is working tirelessly to rebuild the economy and lay the foundation for a stronger, more inclusive Nigeria.”
He quoted 1 Timothy 2:1-2, highlighting the importance of praying for leaders in authority and urged citizens to lift up the president and his team in prayer and active support.
“This is a time for unity, not division. I call on every Deltan and Nigerian to offer their prayers, trust, and goodwill to this administration. Great nations are not built overnight, but through shared sacrifice and enduring hope.”
